Published: 30 March 2020
Further to the country wide lock down currently mandated in India, the Directorate of Ministry of Shipping clarified on 24th March 2020 that the Gov. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Circular dated 23rd March 2020 did not apply to ships carrying cargo for trade or essential goods and supplies and therefore they would not be facing an immigration blockade.
