MARITIME SECURITY REPORT

The recent Information Fusion Centre (IFC) Annual Report and Infographic for 2022 provides detailed information on the areas of concern, forecasts and preventive measures to take when transiting in the Singapore Straits, Indonesian waters, Bangladesh and surrounding areas. The IFC is a regional Maritime Security (MARSEC) centre hosted by the Singapore Navy. The report provides a trend and analysis of the MARSEC situation in the IFC Area of Interest. The range of MARSEC threats include piracy, sea robbery, maritime terrorism, contraband smuggling, illegal fishing and irregular human migration.
